Delivery:
All packages dispatched by Tecnix.co.uk are sent through Royal Mail Special Delivery as they require a signature upon arrival and the package is insured.
Please note that to return repairs to anywhere outside the U.K. will be £10.95 (for standard weight) as we use the Royal Mail International Special Delivery service.
We do not accept any responsibility for any delays, loss or damage due to the Royal Mail Delivery Service but should you experience any problems then please contact us if we can be of assistance to you.
Repairs: We provide a two month warranty with our repairs which are only valid with the original repair receipt sent to you with the returned repair.
We do not warranty liquid damaged handsets or those with reception faults. Liquid damaged handsets may develop other faults once opened other than the problem that it has been sent to us for, unfortunately this is the nature of the damage, however we will endeavor to repair the faults within the stated price. If chargeable parts are needed, we will contact you first. Please be aware that if your phone develops the same fault or others after the phone has been sent back to you and you would like it fixed again, then this is a chargeable repair. If you would like to query this before you send us your handset, then please contact us and we will inform you of the success rate of that type of repair and advise you whether it is cost effective to go ahead.
Please note that a phone sent to us for repair may develop other faults once opened, for example, a handset sent for an LCD replacement may also have and earpiece or reception fault due to the nature of the breakage. In this instance, we will requote you for the repair, if it is fixable.
Whilst we make every effort to repair your handset, tecnix.co.uk takes no responsibility for consequential damage caused to your handset whilst in our possession.
Payment:
We accept payment via Credit or Debit card and Cheques made payable to ‘tecnix’, please remember to write your name, address & cheque guarantee card number on the reverse.
Minimum Charges:
We require a minimum charge if the handset is beyond economical repair or if you choose not to have the handset fixed. This cost covers our technicians time, the parts and equipment used in trying to repair you phone.
• There is a minimum charge of £10.00 + £5.95 p&p if the phone is not repairable (£10.95 for International Special Delivery).
• There is a minimum charge of £15.00 for all liquid damage repairs + £5.95 p&p . (£10.95 for International Special Delivery).
• There is a minimum charge of £15.00 for all smart phone/PDA repairs + £5.95 p&p. (£10.95 for International Special Delivery).
